The Festive Season at Hill Close Gardens – Drawing Workshop

As the days get shorter and the Winter Solstice approaches we traditionally bring evergreen leaves, cones and berries into our houses and create festive decorations to herald Christmas and brighten the darkness of the winter months.

This drawing workshop will give you the opportunity to select from a range of natural sprigs and sprays gathered from the gardens and to embellish these from a collection of decorative additions (ribbon, candles, glass balls, and sparkle!). You will be encouraged to create a design that could be printed as a festive card, place setting or print for your family and friends.
