The Pleasure Garden Concept
The Victorians who enjoyed these Gardens wanted pleasure, privacy, and peace. Today, we aim to recreate for our visitors that concept of a Pleasure Garden.
For Pleasure, beautiful flowers through the seasons, maybe a lawn for croquet, and perhaps some special fruit or vegetables to enjoy in their seasons.
For Privacy, doors into the different plots, our summerhouses, little homes from home, and tall hedges.
Peace, – hard to illustrate! Please do visit and experience a place only a short walk from central Warwick, where often the loudest sound is birdsong.
