Are you a member of a group that would be interested in talks about Hill Close Gardens? Some of our wonderful volunteers can deliver talks to your group on a variety of topics relating to the history, horticulture, rescue and restoration, and running of Hill Close Gardens. Our speakers can embellish their talks with the use of a presentation, containing information and images relating to the fascinating story of the rare and much loved gardens.
Further information:
Talks are approximately 45-60 minutes in length.
We request for a minimum donation £60, or £3 per person for larger groups to deliver the talk, plus any travel costs for the speaker to get to your venue. Our speakers are generally happy to travel around the local area, if you are further afield, we can also offer talks delivered online.
Our speaker can bring a laptop and projector if there isn’t one available on site, but we do not have a screen, so a suitable background (e.g. plain wall) is needed to project onto.
Below is a calendar where you can make requests for talks, please don’t hesitate to contact our team at hello@hcgt.org.uk, or call 01926 493 339 if you have any other questions.
