Volunteering at Hill Close Gardens is an enjoyable and rewarding experience. As many of our volunteers and visitors say:
“It is a very special place”.
We offer a wide range of opportunities from working in the unique gardens, to leading garden tours sharing the history of Hill Close. You can inspire the next generations to connect with the outdoors by assisting with family activities and craft workshops, help keep the tea room running smoothly, assist with our historic collections or welcome visitors to the site.
As a thank you for being part of our dedicated team, after 3 months from your induction date you will enjoy free annual Membership which allows unlimited entry during the open season and a 10% discount on plant sales.
We have regular coffee mornings and you will have discounted event tickets.
